Less wooziness, although it's very slight with all 3 of you are painting a lot with the windows closed (which none recommend). VoC wise, I prefer the Behr odor over the Valspar (definitely heady) and Sherman Williams red can from lowes for interior. So paying extra for that could be worth it in the kids rooms. One of the 2 top end Behrs do have really good scuff resistance.
